Born in Cuba and raised in Miami, Lourdes ‘Luli’ had always wanted to work in the world of fashion. All their apparel is made with quality imported fabrics and colorful combinations reflective of their heritages.

They use the rich orange, yellow, blue and purple hues of the sunrises and sunsets. The collection released this year offers exotic swimwear with many versions of styles and colors with high fashionable looks.

Once again showing off their Latin origins they gave their 2010 line names such as Fiesta en Miami, Pasion, Rumba and Boom-Boom-Boom. The bikinis, cover-ups and monokinis had the audience exuded with energy. The cover-ups range from one-piece suits to mini-dress length shirts. This makes the transition from lying on the beach to partying on the beach very easy. Add a few accessories and your swimwear has been transformed into sexy party attire.

Many of their designs include pieces of jewelry, each piece is hand crafted by artists from around the world. One of their very complex collections, the Star used Swarovski crystals to accent the garments. The prices range from $120 to $150 but that is not bad, knowing that they use only quality fabric and material to make each piece.

The Sports Illustrated swimsuit Edition has featured their designs for the last four years in a row. Top model, Gisele Bundchen who happens to be a huge fan, wore their swimwear in ‘Taxi’ with Queen Latifah and Jimmy Fallon. Magazines such as Vogue, Elle, In Style, Cosmopolitan and Glamour have also featured them on their covers. This line has also been used in music videos and on MTV.
